Description
Sarvchi was a planet of the Chiss Ascendancy in the Unknown Regions. It was home of the Chaf family, one of the Chiss Ruling Families. Like other homeworlds of Ruling Families, Sarvchi was located on the Path of the Houses. It was a neutral world where lived the few non-Chiss that populated the Ascendancy. Government Type: Oligarchy Allegiance: Chiss Ascendancy Planetary Governor: The Chaf family, which was also styled House Chaf in Basic, was the Fifth Ruling Family of the Chiss Ascendancy, being one of the group of affiliations known as the Ruling Families which provided leadership for the Chiss people. In keeping with the Chiss custom of indicating an individual's role by the colour scheme of their clothes, members and retainers of the Chaf family wore yellow costumes, ranging from ornate formal robes to utilitarian jumpsuits depending on their rank and duties. They controlled the planet Sarvchi. The duties of the Chaf family were primarily diplomatic.
