Welcome to Sacramento County Fire Department! We are currently hiring, and are looking for spirited individuals that know what they’re doing. If you’re interested in joining please make sure you join our discard The hiring process is relatively simple, in order to be accepted into the department you must have disc, if you do not, you will automatically be denied. You will then go through 3 Tiers of training that cover the most basic functions of a firefighter or paramedic with Sacramento County Fire Department. Once you complete training and the academy you will have a 3-week probationary period. We are proud to serve Sacramento County and her people, our motto is, To Serve with honor, respect, and courage no matter the cost.
