𝟒𝟐𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓 "𝙃𝘼𝙄𝙇 𝘾𝘼𝙇𝙀𝘿𝙊𝙉𝙄𝘼!" Raised in 1721 for the second time after a previous mutiny, the 42nd Regiment of Foot is the paramount unit of Scottish line infantry in the British Army. The regiment won a battle honour for its inimitable courage and gallantry displayed in Egypt on campaign in 1801 and went on to win another for its defense of the city of Corunna as British forces loaded onto ships to escape to Portugal. Now back in the Spanish peninsula, the Black Watch are ever-ready to demonstrate the fearless warrior spirit possessed by every Scotsman.
