Description
Brunswick regiments were sold by the The Duchy of Brunswick to fight for whomever bought them. The regiments were loyal only to their Colonel in Chief and were some of the best and most feared Line Infantry of the time. They often were mistaken for light Prussian cavalry and were charged by lancers, only to be cut down by squares. The Brunswickers above all else were disciplined.
