Description
In the war of 1812 the Americans made a bold move and took on the world's greatest naval power in response to the attacking of American ships and sailors. Though the Americans suffered many losses and defeats during the invasion of Canada, they were able to make a remarkable come back that stopped the British in their tracks both at the siege of Fort McHenry and the Battle of New Orleans, where a brave colonel by the name of Andrew Jackson, out numbered 3 to 1, led his army of American soldiers and militiamen to overwhelmingly crush the British army, saving the American cause.
