Description
Transhumanism [ h+ ] is an intellectual movement which advocates the progression of humanity beyond its natural limitations by developing and making widely available sophisticated technologies that greatly enhance our cognitive, physical, and psychological capabilities in the quest to become the definition of posthuman individuals unaffected by evolutionary challenges presented in the modern world. Common methods often discussed in the Transhumanist community are genomics, cybernetics, artificial intelligence, and nanotechnology to treat aging, disease, mortal wounds, and mental disorders. This group is for discussion and debate of the benefits, drawbacks, and challenges to the transhumanist movement.
