Description
The Totarian Royal Guard was created by King Dinj of Totaria, in the 1st century PU. It was modeled after the old Custodes bodyguards of the Second Canetrovian Empire, whose job was to protect the Legate and to defend Stormrun back when it was a regional capital. This new guard was initially recruited specifically from Stromas Humans from the City of Stormrun whom held citizen status. As time went on, enlistment would be opened to all other kinds of Humans within Totaria (Totari-Stromas, Sisilian, and Kelle). Non-Humans are excluded unless exception is made. In order to become a guard, members must go through various trials and serve in the western fort of Watchfall where they fight against Orc tribes with minimal support. Once a candidate becomes a proper guardsman, they defend the King, his throne, and the inner keep of Stormrun.
