21. Heer Panzer Division #2783032
Description
The 21. Heer Panzer Division started out as a unit that is primarily known for being 1 out of the 2 Panzer Divisions in the Deutsches Afrikakorps, (the prior name was the 5. Light Division in which had been made of light panzers and motorized infantry.) The roles in which the 21. had played in Afrika was the massive rout of the British in Libya which saw the 600 mile advance of the Germans through Egypt unopposed, primarily using Flak 88 as artillery and the rapid deployment of Panzer II's to flak the British infantry units, the division kept losing men until being reintroduced into France before the Invasion of Normandy. To state the obvious: * We in no way promote or permit racism within our ranks, the Reich had allowed Turks and Africans to serve within the ranks of the Heer, and we will promote that freedom of integration highly * We did not fight on the Ostfront, we do not execute PoW's and prisoners, we also will treat our fallen comrades and enemies.
