The Maryland State Police offers a variety of services one of which is an elite task force created to enforce the laws with a subtle military influenced style of policing and do the jobs an average Trooper may not be able to do alone; The SRU or otherwise known as SWAT Division represents a military grade style of policing enforced and provided by almost every police department in America, To join an SRU / SWAT team you must undergo a rather long and extensive application process followed by proper training. If you wish to make a change in the community through professional policing the Maryland State Police is the place to be. You must have the following credentials to join Rank in M.D.S.P.: MR+ Have at least 2 weeks experience with M.D.S.P. Approved by an admin. ***APPLICATION ONLY - PM AN ADMIN*** **MUST BE A MEMBER OF M.D.S.P.
