Their ranks were filled with men who were willing to die for more than just the Crown, they fought for the right to be as resolute, unyielding Englishmen, empowered by the British Spirit and the quintessential standard of living that only the British could offer its subjects. Through the power of sail, cannon, musket and horseback, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland holds the distinction of being the most powerful nation to have ever existed.
