Due to Kota's distrust and personal distaste in the Grand Army of the Republic's clone troopers, Kota commissioned a large militia of mercenaries, local planetary militias and even Separatist prisoners of war. His militia fought on the behalf of the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars and gained a legendary reputation. After Order 66, Kota and his militia went into hiding.
