Formed by various planets, systems, and mega-companies that declared to leave the Republic due to its excessive taxation and Senate corruption. War was declared when the Confederacy attempted to execute Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padmé Amidala on Geonosis.
