Description
They hold the responsibility of guarding the Fleet Admiral of the UNSC and other Highcom/Centcom members at all times. --------------------------------------- Backstory behind the nickname: As the army is responsible for the defence of Colonies, cities, bases, etc. They are essentially guards. As the elite of the Army, the Gargoyle Battalion gets their name from the famous statues named Gargoyles. A Gargoyle was placed on a pillar to defend the holy from unholy harming it and surrounding area from evil roaming free. Many felt due to their looks they were demons, but the bible states they were stationed as heavenly warriors to defend humanity as their soul purpose. The Gargoyle Battalion now takes that responsibility upon themselves.
