Freaks to some, nerds to others. This is a group for all the loyal fans of the "Hellraiser" franchise, including movies, novels, comics, and even fan films. If you're new to "Hellraiser" and just getting into it, we have such sights to show you. "Hellraiser" is a movie franchise based on Clive Barker's 1986 novella, "The Hellbound Heart". While the novella and the first film focus more on temptations and how far one will go for love, the sequels focus more on the Cenobites and, particularly, the lead Cenobite, the Hell Priest, also known as "Pinhead". Pinhead and his band of Cenobites are theologians that work for Hell (hence the groups name), or more particularly, Leviathan: a deity who is the embodiment of pain and suffering. The Cenobites are summoned by the Lament Configuration: a puzzle box which allegedly grants eternal pleasure, but to the Cenobites pain is synonymous with pleasure. That is the core ideology of their beliefs.
