Description
In the late fourth century, medical and arcane scientific development reached a pace never before seen. Suddenly the impossible was merely improbable. New technologies were developed in rapid succession and new industries supplanted old ones overnight. This cascading conglomeration of advancing technologies and corporate powers became the foundation of the first of the great City-States. The cost of these metropolises, however, far outweighed the benefits. The resources of the planet were reaped en-masse, leaving much of the surface barren for all but the hardiest of plant life or the toughest nomads. It is in one of the surviving great capitals that our story is set; the dysfunctional City-State of Henosis, to be more precise. [logo to be updated at a later date]
