Description
The name N.Y Garrison is based on the fact that the said faction is a group of troops stationed at New York. Their original purpose was to guard New York, but now they occupy Staten Island as their home base. The N.Y Garrison was originally a heavily fortified "structure" built around the biggest railroad stations in Staten Island, as this said structure worked as a small "refuge" & trade post for a long time for the few last survivors inside New York. This said structure though fell into a downward spiral at the winter of 2019, when the cold & non-stop raiding & banditry focused on the base caused it to lose supplies & people. The rest of the armed survivors moved underground, to the sewers. The new N.Y Garrison had hastily fortified itself in the recently abandoned mining shaft & mining shack, as the shaft still houses a few computers able of communicating with the rest of the United States by using Arpanet.
