The Star-Fighter Corps is the division of The Old Republic Naval Branch that pilots small crafts in order to keep away boarding parties, and small crafts from damaging the cruisers they are assigned to protect. Such soldiers are given the name of pilots each with their own task and responsibility may their role hold true in the way they serve.
