Description

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃 ; 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐋𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 ▬ 🛡️ The Politophylakes are the sworn defenders of the polis, tasked with safeguarding its walls, gates, and sacred halls. Chosen for their discipline and loyalty, they form the backbone of the city’s security, standing ready against treachery within and threats from beyond. 🏛️ Among their ranks lies an elite detachment entrusted with the protection of magistrates, councilors, and honored guests of the city. Whether standing watch in the assembly, escorting dignitaries, or holding the line at the city gates, they serve as the living shield of the polis. 🤝 To join the Politophylakes is to guard not just stone and mortar, but the very heart of civic life. Seek a Lochagos of the guard to earn your place among those who defend the honor and power of the city.

Growth

2 measurements spanning 38 days, net -1. Dots are measurements; the straight line between them is drawn to join them, not to claim we know the path taken in between — snapshots are recorded only when a count changes, so gaps mean “no change observed”, never “interpolated”. The vertical axis spans 23–24 and does not start at zero.
