Welcome to the {ETF} Toronto Police Service Emergency Task Force! Created on April 30, 2023 The Emergency Task Force is a 24/7 support unit tasked with responding to high-risk emergency situations, search warrant execution and armed/barricaded persons. Special Weapons Teams have specialized tactical training with the goal of the safe apprehension of an armed person who may pose a danger to others or a person in crisis who may pose a danger to themselves.
