Sir Gnome V got hit in the head by a foolish boy that threw a rock at him, the British replaced him with someone else, someone named Ritsao, Ritsao became the new Brotherhood leader and he still is today. Ritsao and his Brotherhood planned and escape from the British lawn to join under a flag where they bow to no one.
