Description
The County of Clark was officially incorporated in 1659 by Pax Britannia as a colony county of Pax Britannia Mayflower, which was a colony under the Realm of Pax Britannia. Under Pax Britannia rule, Clark County was sparsely populated, and had been very popular amongst hunters for the pelt production that occurred in the county. During the Columbian Revolutionary War in 1776, Clark County had been used as a stronghold for the new Union of Columbia government. The Town of Mersea had been used as a secondary location for the First Columbian Congress until it had capitulated to Pax Britannia forces in 1776. In the fallout of the 1989 financial crisis, the County of New Haven had entered substantial debt with the City of Lander, causing the city to eventually be annexed by Clark County. The county is seated in the Town of Mersea.
