Description
The Jupiter Mining Corporation or JMC was the section of the Space Corps that licensed ships, like Red Dwarf, to conduct mining operations throughout Earth's Solar System, and also interstellar, into Deep Space around the Galaxy. After many years of economic growth and meeting new civilizations, the JMC abandoned it's prime directive as a business and moved onto creating an advanced civilization of humanity, away from Earth. The JMC created large numbers of artificial planet like star bases and sub-bases operated by the JMC Imperial Fleet. The capital of the JMC is Starbase YorkTown; with 5 high level defence bases for the JMC Imperial Fleet, With military and territorial expansion the Jupiter Mining Corporation sends a mixture of Imperial Fleet and miners for expansion and economic growth. They also seek new people who wish to join the vast territory of the JMC. This group is primarily used for the game Galaxy. Red Dwarf is a TV series by the BBC.
