Known as the 1st Infantry Division. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Era: 1941-1945 (World War Two) History: Right after the attack in December 7th 1941 and the declaration of war from the United States against the Axis powers. On the 22 October 1942 the division was sent to North Africa to take part in Operation Torch the Allied Invasion of French North Africa. The division was in North Africa from 21 January 1942 to 9 May 1943. Then in July 1943 the division took part in Operation Husky the Allied Invasion of Sicily. On the 5th of November 1943. The Division was sent to England to prepare for Operation Overlord the invasion of Normandy. Along their journey across France they moved at light speed with the Third Army. Which then they fought through the Hurtgen Forest. And ending in Czechoslovakia. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Dress Code: N/A Field Guide: N/A
