Description
A penthouse is a luxurious apartment located on the top floor of a building, usually a high-rise. Penthouses often have premium features such as large living spaces, private terraces or rooftop areas, impressive views, high-end interiors, and sometimes private elevators or pools. For example, if a 30-story apartment building has an especially large, luxurious home on the 30th floor, that apartment may be called the penthouse. The word can also refer more generally to an exclusive top-floor apartment, even if it isn't extremely luxurious.
