𝟏𝟗𝟑𝟖 𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐚 The Kingdom of Lotharingia is a historic monarchy in western Europe established between France and Germany. Stretching from the North Sea lowlands down to the fields of Lorraine. The Realm has its origins tracing back to Lothair I after forming the middle kingdom after the division of the Carolingian empire. The realm later became known as "Lotharingia". Politically, the Kingdom developed from a Feudal Carolingian Monarchy to a modern semi-constitutional state with strong ties to the Christian traditions that built the nation and the Roman Catholic Church remains the dominant religious institution. Today the Realm stands as a distinct European monarchy and regional power with over 30 million subjects in Europe and over 120 million people worldwide in service of the middle Kingdom. Its survival as a unified state represents the continuation of political tradition dating back to the ninth centuries.
