▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ History : The Fujiwara Clan is one of the great four clans of medieval Japan. The Fujiwara Clan resides in the Northern Yamato Province of the island Honshu of Japan. Fujiwara literally translates to "Field of Wisterias." The clan originated when its founder, Nakatomi no Kamatari (614–669AD), was rewarded by the emperor of that time, Emperor Tenji, with the honorific name "Fujiwara", which evolved as a surname for Kamatari and his descendants. In time, "Fujiwara" became known as a clan name.
