Dost thou prate, rogue? Chivalry: Medieval Warfare was a medieval melee slasher game made by Torn Banner. Not only does it have engaging real-time combat with free-form mechanics that are heavily skill-based, but it has ridiculously funny comedic aspects and a great immersive setting. It released in 2012, originating from a mod named Age of Chivalry. Torn Banner later released the sequel, Chivalry 2, in 2021. For the glory of Agatha, brother. I initially played this in 2014 and put in 2400 hours between then and 2019.
