𝐃𝐎𝐔𝐂𝐇𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐀 The douchy of Fogaraș (Romanian: Ț𝑎𝑟𝑎 𝐹𝑜𝑔ă𝑟𝑎ș𝑢𝑙𝑢𝑖) is a romanian land located in the north of Wallachia, east of Sibiu. The territory was first attested by Basarab I, in the legendary Battle of Posada, where he refused to grant the lands of Fogaraș, Almaș and the Banate of Severin to the Kingdom of Hungary. The land is ruled by a Herțeg (romanian for duke), elected by the Prince of Wallachia.
