Time Period: Late 1300s - Early 1500s 𝕹𝖔𝖚𝖘 𝕿𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖕𝖔𝖓𝖘 𝖑𝖆 𝕸𝖔𝖗𝖙 Summary: A plague doctor was a medical physician who treated victims of the plague. They were specifically hired by towns that had many plague victims in times of epidemics. However, they were also thought to be an organization to cure their morbid curiosity on unsuspected patients.
