𝐋𝐄𝐘𝐁-𝐆U𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐈 𝐘𝐄𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐘 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐊 The Life-Guard Yegerskiy Regiment was formed in 1796 by a personal decree of Emperor Paul I. Until 1806, it was a battalion, then it was expanded to a regiment. The first commander was Colonel A.I. Rachinskaya, who commanded the Yeger team in Gatchina under Pavel Petovich The first Chief of the regiment until 1812 was P.I. Bagration. The battalion was formed from the Yeger teams of l-guards. Somenovsky l-guards. Gatchina Izmalovsky regiments and companies. The battalion, and then the regiment, took part in all the wars of the Napoleonic era, the Caucasian and Turkish campaigns. 𝐓𝐘𝐏𝐄 Light infantry Commander: N/A. Executive Director: N/A.
