🥁NÄRKE-VÄRMLANDS ⭐"MED GUD OCH SEGERRIKA VÄRJOR" 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 The Närke-Värmland Regiment traces its origins to the provincial companies raised in Närke and Värmland during the 16th century, which were organized into a permanent regiment under Gustav II Adolf in the 1620s. The regiment saw extensive service during Sweden's wars of the 17th century, fighting at Fredriksodde in 1657 and taking part in the March across the Belts in 1658. During the Scanian War, it fought at the Battle of Lund in 1676 and Landskrona in 1677. By the outbreak of the Great Northern War in 1700, the regiment had become a well-established and experienced infantry formation of the Carolean Army. 𝐄𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 Conscription
