Its rise to power came in Year 15 AC after its then-leader, Barian Forthaire, had stopped a treacherous plot to overthrow the monarchy. Barian's first-born son, Eredan Forthaire, would be chosen by Queen Guinevere to succeed her line in Year 80 AC as both Duke of Forthaire and now King of Gailia.
