Description

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■ The Ministry for State Security, or Stasi, was the secret police and intelligence agency of the GDR. It operated with the mandate to suppress dissent, monitor political opposition, and maintain state control through surveillance, informants, and covert operations. The Stasi was notorious for its extensive network of informants and its role in enforcing ideological conformity, reflecting its central role in maintaining the authoritarian regime of East Germany until its dissolution in 1989. ■▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬๑۩๑▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬■
