𝟐. 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐃𝐄 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━ During the Victorian era, the 2nd Brigade of the Danish Army underwent significant changes and played a crucial role in several conflicts. In the early Victorian era, the Danish army was reorganized to adopt a more modern structure and tactics. The 2nd Brigade was composed of infantry and cavalry regiments, and its soldiers were equipped with rifles, replacing the outdated smoothbore muskets. The 2nd Brigade saw action during the First Schleswig War (1848-1851), which was fought between Denmark and the German Confederation over the control of Schleswig-Holstein. The brigade played a significant role in several battles, including the Battle of Bov, April 9, 1849, where it successfully repulsed a German assault.
