The SMC comprises doctors, nurses, medics, and other healthcare professionals who are trained to provide a range of medical services, including emergency care, trauma management, and preventive medicine. In addition to its primary role of providing healthcare to military personnel, the SMC also provides medical support for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief efforts both locally and internationally. The SMC works closely with other military units and government agencies to ensure the health and well-being of Singapore's military and civilian population.
