Description
ʟᴇɢɪᴏ ɪx ʜɪsᴘᴀɴᴀ The 9th Spanish Legion, or Legio IX Hispana, was operational from the 1st century BC to at least 120 AD. This legion participated in conflicts across different provinces of the late Roman Republic and early Roman Empire. In 43 AD, after the Roman invasion, it was stationed in Britain.
