505. Viteška Brdska Brigada 505th Knights Mountain Brigade - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The 505th Brigade played a significant role in the defense of the Bosniak-controlled enclaves in the region against the Serb and Croat forces, including the defense of the towns of Cazin and Velika Kladusa. The brigade was known for its mobility and its ability to operate in mountainous terrain, using guerrilla tactics to launch surprise attacks against the enemy. Today, the 505th Viteška Brdska Brigada is remembered as a symbol of the Bosniak people's resistance and struggle for independence during the Bosnian War in the western and northern parts of Bosnia.
