Description
𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗔 𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗔 𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗔 Founded in 238 BC as a province of the Roman Empire, the Kingdom of Sardinia eventually gained it's independence de facto in 1324. In 1792 the Kingdom of Sardinia and several Savoy States joined the First Coalition against Revolutionary France but was defeated by Napoleon in 1796. Apart of the First, Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Coalitions against Napoleon and France, the Kingdom of Sardinia was a hard fighting and worthy opponent.
