Republic Naval Operations (RNO) Open Circle Fleet Command (OCFC) First Section Army (FSA) The Republic Fleet of the Outer Rim, also known as the Open Circle Fleet, is a Republic Naval Battle Group comprising several regiments that saw significant action during the Phase 1 Clone Era. For three years, the Grand Army fought on all fronts across a war-torn galaxy, from campaigns in the Outer Rim Territories to a Separatist attack on the Republic capital of Coruscant. The 212th Attack Battalion is an infantry battalion of the Republic Army led by Commander Cody. It is focused on siege and defensive operations. The 501st Legion is an infantry legion of the Republic Army led by Captain Rex. It specializes in direct assault and infiltration missions. The 38th Armored Legion is a mechanized division of the Republic Army led by Commander Gaffaa. It specializes in armored warfare and heavy assault operations.
