Many people assume he's Italian, but I'm here to tell you that he's not. Let's start with the obvious: his name. While Mario is a common name in Italy, it's also common in other countries like Spain and Portugal. It's like naming your cat Fluffy. And let's be real, have you ever met anyone with the last name "Mario"? I didn't think so. Now let's talk about his appearance. Yes, he's short and stocky with a mustache and a pair of overalls, but that doesn't make him Italian. I mean, have you seen the Jersey Shore? Those guys are short, stocky, and have more hair gel in their mustaches than Mario could ever dream of. Are they Italian? Maybe. Are they proud representatives of their heritage? That's debatable. And let's talk about his accent. Sure, he says "Mama mia!" a lot, but that doesn't make him Italian. Oh and by the way we make games.
