Description

Strength is all that matters in the wasteland and the Red Palm embodies this principle by valuing physical prowess and dominance over others: individuals struggling to assert themselves over other individuals, and the Red Palm as a collective fighting to be recognized above other factions. There are, however, other kinds of prowess that some of the Red Palm may value more. Cunning may be just as important as raw power for one to succeed in the wasteland. Winning in the ring is the goal – does it matter how you win? We dislike people who only fought at another’s will, such as guards and mercenaries. We fight for the sake of fighting because that is what it means to survive. Those who fight for money that they don’t need have lost their way, and support the powers that uphold an oppressive status quo. Additionally, to feel remorseful for acts of violence is distasteful to us. Life in the wasteland is a fight for survival, and we must not only accept this but embrace it.
