Description
Group now —[ NASA / Jet Propulsion Laboratory ]— This group is still in development. Welcome to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s JPL campus in Pasadena, California. Note that this is NASA’s only facility managed by a university! (The California Institute of Technology) This is NASA’s center for robotics in space, where we send rovers, telescopes, drones and et cetera to the far reaches of our solar system humans can’t yet reach. JPL started in the 1930s as a group of Caltech students experimenting with rockets in the desert. During World War Two, the U.S. Army funded them to develop rocket technology, which helped the lab grow. After the war, their focus shifted to space exploration, and JPL became a NASA-managed center run by Caltech, eventually leading many of America’s robotic missions to planets and beyond. So… rise to the challenge, and Dare Mighty Things!

Growth
Growth history is still building. We hold one measurement for this entry. A trend needs at least two, taken days apart — so this will fill in on its own rather than being estimated. We do not publish numbers we have not measured.
