Description
"Mighty men of the Ordes" ⚔️ The Ischyroi Orditon are an elite heavy infantry unit originating among the Getae of the Ordes tribe. Their roots lie in the old Getic capital of Helis, from where they inherited advanced metallurgy and strong Hellenic influences. After the destruction of Helis by the Galatai, the Ordes regrouped and rebuilt their power at Argedava, which became a major military and political center. Under the rule of Burebista, the Ordes were fully integrated into the unified Geto-Dacian kingdom, and the Ischyroi Orditon evolved into a royal elite guard. Well-armed, disciplined, and loyal to the king, they represent the pinnacle of Geto-Dacian noble infantry.
