Description
The Scourge of Icecrown (Deactivated) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ The Scourge was a group loosely based on the faction seen in World of Warcraft with a small twist on the lore. At the time, I hadn't seen any active Scourge themed groups with actual potential and the WoW community was almost nonexistent- so it seemed like a decent idea. The group fell into inactivity because I chose to shoulder all of the development. A cardinal rule of mine was to never mix the styles of several developers, or the design ends up a mess. Nonetheless, I was never a scripter, and so even if the building projects had been finished- utility would have been limited all the same. The group was divided up into the same specializations seen in WoW for Death Knights. Each was expected to outperform the other and the group culture was oriented to train our members to value strength and loyalty over warmth and sociability. Thanks to those who committed their time to the Scourge. It was most appreciated.
