This unit is invite-only and its members are handpicked from the Navy SEALs and 5SFG at the discretion of its officers. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ MACV-SOG / Clandestine Special Operations The MACV Studies & Observations Group was a top-secret joint unconventional warfare task force consisting of the best commandos of all service branches. They infiltrated far behind enemy lines and conducted cross-border operations into Laos. Between 1964 and 1968, the group played a pivotal role in the Vietnam War. They were notably involved in: • Operation Wandering Soul • Operation Footboy • Operation Daniel Boon • Operation Sultan , sneaking behind enemy lines, covertly harassing PAVN line of communications and movements along the Ho Chi Minh trail. The group's efforts during this time showcased their reliability in combating insurgency as independent teams, expertly navigating and living off the terrain.
