The office provides legal advice and general counsel, though the post of Staff Judge Advocate is a position that operates in-theatre. They're tasked to create and maintain law, etiquette and professionalism. Unit members who fail to meet such criteria can be questioned and penalized by the office at the discretion of the Judge Advocate General. Members are prohibited from being in another unit concurrently.
