This unit is invite-only and its members are handpicked from the MACV Recon School at the discretion of its officers. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 66MIG / Internal Intelligence & Pathfinding The 66th Military Intelligence Group was an intelligence support formation that conducted missions in the field when necessary. During the Vietnam War, they were subordinate to the Capital Military Assistance Command headquartered in Saigon. Between 1964 and 1968, the group played an important role in the Vietnam War. They may have been involved in: • Operation Wandering Soul , collecting strategic intelligence about enemy formations from POWs, and reconnoitring behind enemy lines on pathfinding missions, creating topographical maps for units to use in their separate operations.
