𝐃𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 The Dacian religion centered on the worship of Zalmoxis, the god of life, death, and rebirth. Priests, led by the Great Priest, who was typically second in command after the king in Geto-Dacian states, held immense influence over both spiritual and political life. They guided rituals, interpreted sacred law, and advised kings and tribal councils. Sacred mountains, rivers, and groves were important sites of worship, and religious ceremonies reinforced social order, warrior courage, and tribal unity. Faith was deeply woven into the daily lives of the Geto-Dacians, inspiring warriors, legitimizing rulers, and uniting the tribes through shared belief and priestly authority.
