𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The Landsraad is a colossal body representing all of the Great Houses in relation to the Imperium. The Landsraad was established far before the emergence of the Corrino Empire but only rose to prominence upon its formation. Ultimately ruled by the High Council and overseen by the Padishah Emperor the Landsraad embodies the countless fragments which form the singular whole of the Imperium. 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐬: The Landsraad acts as a legal body regulating the means of warfare between noble houses, modulating disputes, and forming a counterbalance to the power of the Imperial Throne. Similarly, the Landsraad prevents the singling out of a House by the Imperial Throne. Accordingly, any official disputes must be channeled through the Landsraad. That is declaring feuds, wars, or legal means of assassination. Finally, it is said, only the whole of the Landsraad military power could compete against the totality of the Imperial Sardaukar.
