Dominion of Wales Unionist Constitutional Monarchy 1936 - 1947 Under the oppressive rule of the syndicalists the welsh population had endured years of economic hardship and political suppression their distinct culture and identity had been overshadowed by the central authority in london and a fervent desire for self governance ignited within their hearts. With the backing of the entente pact the welsh nationalists gained a decisive advantage their ranks swelled with volunteers and their weaponry improved significantly the syndicalist forces already stretched thin by the wider conflict struggled to withstand the onslaught. Finally after months of intense fighting the dominion of wales emerged victorious the syndicalist governments grip on the land was shattered and the dream of independence became a reality the welsh people celebrated their newfound freedom their national pride rekindled and stronger than ever.
